Fly-Out Pedestal Mount (SP-FlyoutPed) and Tenon Mounting Pedestal (SP-TenMountPed) same piece and have a lot of ways to use them.

Fly-Out Pedestal Mount (SP-FlyoutPed) or Tenon Mounting Pedestal (SP-TenMountPed)

The Accessory Mounting Pedestal is designed to bolt directly to the top of the SteadyMax or 4″ Camera Poles to provide a quick PTZ camera Mount using the PTZ Fly-Over Mount or the PTZ Fly-Out.

The Pedestal is made from our 4″ Camera Poles, standing 7.5″ with pre-drill holes on all four sides. Every Pedestal kit is the Top Cap; one gasket and stainless steel hardware are included to mount the pedestal to the pole.

Pedestal Attached Camera Mount (SP-PACM)

The Side Mount Platform (part # SP-PACM) is used inside and outside to provide a stable flat camera mounting platform.

The Mounting Surface measures 6-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ inches square, with a 1-1/2″ hole in the middle that allows for hiding cabling and passes it thru to the Modular Accessory Pedestal or the Fly-Out Pedestal, which can be used as a junction box, if needed. The mounting surface is 3″ from the base.

Mounting your devices inside, order the Side Mount Platform with the Modular Accessory Pedestal, which is pre-drilled to accept it. It allows you to mount whatever you need as a suspension mount by merely drilling the holes you need for the device you are attaching.

Mounting your device outside, order the Side Mount Platform with the Fly-Out Pedestal, which is pre-drilled to accept the unit; this will allow you to install the unit to the top of our 4″ Classic Square poles or our Steady Max series of poles.

Fly-Over Camera Mount (SP-PTM) over the pole

The Fly-Over Camera Mount is constructed out of sturdy 2″ Aluminum tubing and is built strong enough to hold a heavy Pendant Mount PTZ Camera and avoid shake from high winds. This design allows total 360-degree views, with the tubing being far enough away that only a tiny slice of sight is obstructed.

The threaded pipe at the top is a standard pipe with 1-1/2″ NPT threads that will fit almost any pendant mount camera or other pendant type mounts made by: Axis, Bosch, Vicon, Pelco, CBC/Ganz, Avigilon, etc.

This Fly-Over Camera Mount can also be combined with our Panoramic Camera Mount that threads onto the pipe and locks down with set screws (see the Panoramic Camera Mount page). The handy drop-down door on the Panoramic Camera Mount is 7″ in diameter so that it will fit virtually any 180-degrees or 360-degree panoramic camera on the market.

This Fly-Over Camera Mount can be attached to any Strong Pole or added to the 8X10 Mounting Platform (Birdhouse). When this mount is attached to a Strong Pole, there is 32-1/2″ of clearance between the pole tip and the threaded pipe. When it is connected to the 8X10 Mounting Platform (Birdhouse), there is 27″ of clearance between the top of the Pyramid Cap on the birdhouse and the threaded pipe.

Fly-Out (SP-PTMRFO) out away from the pole

Strong Poles has designed amount for a PTZ Camera (1-1/2″ NPT Threaded pipe) or to fit our Panoramic Camera Mounting Box, which is designed to hold any camera with a screw-on attachment. The size of the threads is 1-1/2″ NPT, but a reducer can be used to fit other dimensions and a Female Coupler.

This stylish “Fly-Out” mount is designed to get the mounting arm a reasonable distance away from the camera so that it does not block a large portion of the surrounding view.

The supplied 1-1/2″ NPT pipe fits many typical PTZ Cameras, Dome Cameras, and Panoramic Cameras. It can also be easily adapted for others.

This Fly-Out Mount can be combined with our Panoramic Camera Mounting box to provide a mount and drop-down service door for virtually any 360 or 180 degrees Panoramic Camera.

6″ Horizontal Tenon (SP-TenonH) 

This style of light mounting tenon is the industry’s standard and achieves the lightest mounting configurations you will need. This 2-3/8″ Heavy Duty Tenon (T-20) will hold all types of lights – including our LED versions.

4″ Vertical Tenon (SP-TenonV)

This unique Lighting Tenon has an upturned tenon portion in case you need to mount a light vertically. You can gain a little more height by doing this (if required) and then angle the light downward using its adjustment knuckle. Or, maybe you are trying to bend the light to reach out further slightly. Whatever the reason, this style mount is now available.

This size tenon (2-3/8″ – the industry-standard – T20) will fit most lights with a tenon mount.
