Multi-Purpose 8×10 PTZ Box (PTZ-810)

Can be used as a Mounting Platform or Large Junction Box

This aluminum Multi-Purpose 8×10 inch ultra-strong Multi-Purpose PTZ Box (PTZ-810) is built similarly to our famous “Birdhouse” on our outdoor Strong Poles, and can be used for a variety of purposes. Here are just a few:

• PTZ Wall Mount Style Camera Mount (up to 4 sides – 4^th side has no pre-drilled wiring access hole, but it can be drilled for mounting a 4^th PTZ).
• Large Junction Box for wiring and/or small switches, POE Extenders, etc. (instead of an Access Hole and Cover, this box has plenty of room in the top – or bottom, if you’re using it inverted – for getting your hands or even small devices, down into the box)
• Mount Antennas or even Equipment Enclosures to the sides

Any Camera, Cabinet or other device may be attached to this box. It is made out of 3/16” aluminum for added strength to hold up to 100 pounds attached to it, and a total of 250 pounds total string weight.

This Multi-Purpose 8×10 PTZ Box comes with 3 Plugs inserted in the 3 pre-drilled access holes (1-1/2 inch holes). Simply remove the plug from any holes you intend to utilize. If you intend to use the 4^th side, simply drill your access hole where you need it – for example, a Panoramic camera may need a hole in a different position rather than center.  This is the reason that we let you customize the 4^th side.

If you intend to use this Multi-Purpose PTZ Box inline, you won’t need anything else.  If you intend to use it as the bottom of a string, then order it with the bottom plug, if needed.

This Multi-Purpose 8×10 PTZ Box is equipped with 1-1/2” threaded couplers welded on both ends that are complete with set screws that will lock the upper and/or lower pipes down and prevent loosening or twisting of the pipe.
