5 different types of Ceiling Mounts
to begin designing your suspension components with.
Here Are Your Choices:
Pendant Type Ceiling Mount:
This cast aluminum type of mount, when used alone, comes complete with Concrete Anchors in case you are attaching your suspension components to a concrete ceiling. You can source some Lag Screws if you will be attaching these to a wood beam. Ideally, this mount would be bolted to a steel plate or beam with bolts. This type is limited to suspending 200 lbs. total weight. (White or Black)
Egyptian Type Ceiling Mount:
This strong steel Egyptian-style ceiling mount is used in quite a few of our Pipe Drop Suspension types, and can be found paired with a Pipe Clamp, a Strong Strut Beam Clamp, and others.
The Egyptian-Style Ceiling Mount can be used in many ways, such as: Attach it to an existing piece of Strut, Use with lag bolts to attach it to a wood beam, or Bolt it onto a steel plate or beam. (Only avail in Black)
This Mount is limited to suspending 250 lbs. total weight. (no bolts provided)
Beam Clamp with Egyptian Mount attached:
This Beam Clamp uses the steel Egyptian Ceiling Mount, which holds a little more weight (250 lbs.) than the Pendant type. This quick-attach attachment will make mounting Pipe and Suspension Components quick and easy. These Beam Clamps use a 14” long section of Strong Strut, and come complete with 2 Beam clamps that can accommodate any Beam up to 11″ wide. (Black color Egyptian only)
Beam Clamp with Pendant Mount attached:
This quick-attach Beam Clamp with a Cast Aluminum Pendant Mount, will suspend a total weight of 200 lbs. This Mount will make mounting Pipe and Suspension Components quick and easy. These Beam Clamps use a 14” long section of Strong Strut, and come complete with 2 Beam clamps that can accommodate any Beam up to 11″ wide. (Black or White Pendant colors)
Pipe or Conduit Clamp with Egyptian Mount Attached:
These innovative Aluminum Clamps allow you to utilize any Heavy Duty pipe or conduit in the facility to quickly start a short chain of suspension components. Be very careful that the pipe or conduit you are attaching to will support the total weight you will be hanging from it. A thick wall, or schedule 80 pipe is better. Pipe Clamps will attach to any pipe or conduit that is between 1-1/2” and 2-1/2” outside diameter (OD). Total weight of all suspended equipment should not exceed 200 pounds. (Black Egyptian color only)
All of Our Ceiling Mounts have set screws. Set screws are very important, as they keep Pipes, Accessories, cameras and any other devices from coming unscrewed due to PTZ rotation forces or other problems. Tighten down the set screws and keep the tightness and/or orientation you desire.
