The 90° PTZ Adapter w/ Coupler from StrongPoles is designed for a wide variety of our mounts to horizontal or vertical poles, arms, or other structures using StrongPoles’ modular mounting system. It is compatible with any type of 1/2″ NPT threaded camera and can also accommodate other thread sizes when used with a reducer or adapter.

Mounting Adapter Overview
This adapter is designed to work with StrongPoles’ Light-Duty Cantilever Arm, but is not compatible with the SteadyMax main pole.

Versatile Mounting Applications:

1. Vertical Pole Mounting

Easily mount the adapter to the side of any round or square vertical pole, including StrongPoles’ Light-Duty Cantilever Arm. Perfect for positioning a PTZ camera to extend outward—ideal for parking lots, perimeter monitoring, or building corners where a wide, unobstructed view is required.

2. Twin PTZ Adapter

Mount the adapter to a Twin PTZ Adapter to suspend a PTZ camera facing downward. This setup is effective for monitoring roadways, vehicle entry gates, or intersections where a top-down perspective is best.

3. Dual Camera Mount

When paired with a Dual Camera Mount, this adapter can extend a PTZ camera out from a building’s facade. The Dual Camera Mount allows two PTZ or fixed cameras to be mounted side-by-side, offering expansive coverage from a single installation point—perfect for monitoring opposite directions or wide-angle views. It’s a great solution for surveillance around warehouses, retail storefronts, or loading docks.

4. Dome Mount

StrongPoles now offers a Dome Camera Mount specifically designed to pair with our 90° Adapter, creating a clean and professional mounting solution for dome-style cameras.

The durable 8” round mounting plate includes a 1 3/8″ center hole for routing cables and connectors, and it’s compatible with most dome cameras on the market.

This mount easily threads onto the 90° Adapter or any 1-1/2” NPT threaded pendant mount, making it ideal for building corners, wall applications, or pole extensions where a downward-facing dome camera is needed.

5. Available in Multiple Lengths

Available in multiple lengths ranging from 3ft to 6ft, this mount offers flexible installation options to suit various surveillance needs and mounting heights.

Additional Compatibility with Reducers

• The adapter is designed for 1/2″ NPT threaded cameras, but with a thread reducer or coupler, it can support other thread sizes, such as:
  • 3/4″ NPT to 1/2″ NPT reducer for larger-threaded mounts.
  • 1/2″ NPT to 3/8″ NPT reducer for smaller-threaded PTZ or fixed cameras.
  • Other custom adapters to fit unique mounting requirements.
